Founded in 2005 by commodity trading, trade finance, and chartering experts, Korel is a "Trading House" that is committed to provide sourcing solutions of raw materials for its clients in Milling, Feed, Steel and Energy Sectors. We supply grains, feedstuff and carbon to Black Sea, Mediterranean, Continental Europe and Far East markets.
About Us
People are used to picking products from shelves and shops but they rarely think how those products become available to them. But we, commodity traders, logistics experts, farmers, miners, seamen, factory workers, merchandisers, surveyors, crane operators and many other nameless people in the supply chain work 365 days 24/7 in order to make that happen. It sounds a bit strange way to make a living but as commodity traders at Korel, we don't know how to do anything else. We have been delivering on our promises to counterparties for over 2 decades, with more then 1000 bulk carrier vessels to several destinations. We will continue to do so, As God Wishes and Weather Permits.
Team
Tuğrul Koç
Trader with commodity and shipping background. Started his career in 1997 as a foreign trade representative in Istanbul. After trading several different commodities, he specialized in coal and derivatives. Native in Turkish and speaks English, holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bilkent University, Ankara.
Celal Koç
Trader with finance and management background. Began his career at Treasury Department of İş Bankası in 1999. Worked different positions and completed several tasks in Istanbul, Dublin and Moscow until he switched from banking to shipping and commodity trading in 2008. Native in Turkish, speaks English and holds BA in International Relations from Bilkent University and MBA from University College Dublin.
Fatih Koç
Operations expert. Native in Turkish, speaks English and holds BA in Economics from Bilkent University. Started his career as a foreign trade representative in 2005 in Istanbul. Moved into shipping in 2008 and responsible for all operations of Korel since 2010. Apart from work, enjoys diving and sailing.
